GREENVEST ESCO implemented a new lighting system for the well-known “Itaca” shopping centre in Formia, replacing more than 2,700 traditional lamps with the same number of LED lamps. There are numerous post-intervention benefits generated:

• 190 tonnes of CO2/year less emissions;
• approximately 461,000 kWh less energy consumption per year;
• annual savings for tenants (energy and maintenance) of around 60% less per tunnel;
• improvement of the interior lighting state, which has resulted in a more pleasant use of spaces and, with reference to the car parks, an improvement in perceived comfort and safety.
